Show Creation and Management

How clubs create shows, take registrations, build catalogs and publish results in SHOWS.dog.

How do I create a new show?

Shows → "New Event". A 6-step wizard will open: Basic Info, Description, Show Details, Prices, Rules, Settings.

What information is required in the first wizard step?

The event name and country (required), the city and venue, the show type (National / International / Club-Specialty), and how many shows will take place during this event (from 1 to 5).

How do I create a multi-day event with several shows?

In the first wizard step, under "Number of Shows", select the number you need (up to 5) — the wizard will then ask you to fill in the name, date, classes, and judges separately for each day (each show).

What is "catalog delivery time"?

The time on the show day when registered participants automatically receive the catalog by email with their participant number and ring time.

Is an event description required?

No. The description field is optional and may be left blank. If filled in, it is shown to participants on the event page.

How do I add show rules for participants?

In wizard step 5, "Rules", enter the event's rules and terms. If the field is left blank, the "Rules" tab simply is not shown to participants.

Which classes do I need to select when creating a show?

In step 3, "Show Details", you must select at least one class: Baby, Puppy, Junior, Intermediate, Open, Champion, Veteran, Working, Club Champion, or Breeding.

What statuses can a show have?

Draft, Published, Registration Open, Completed, and Cancelled — the show list in the Shows section can be filtered by these.

How do I extend the registration deadline for a show?

In the show list, open the desired show for editing (the "Actions" column) and change the corresponding price tier's deadline to a later date, or, if needed, the show date itself. If multiple price tiers are used, extend the deadline of the last (latest) tier.

How do I edit the details of an already-created show?

In the show list, choose the edit option in the "Actions" column for the desired show — the same step-by-step wizard as when creating a new show will open, already filled in with the existing data.

How do I cancel a show?

Choose the cancel action from the show's actions menu — the show's status will change to "Cancelled", and this will be visible to participants in the event information.

Can I list contact persons on show documents?

Yes. Settings → Club Profile → "Contact Persons" lets you add contact persons who will be shown in the show documentation.

Ask. I'll help.
