Classes and Titles
How clubs create shows, take registrations, build catalogs and publish results in SHOWS.dog.
What classes are available in the FCI system?
Baby, Puppy, Junior, Intermediate, Open, Working, Champion, Club Champion, Veteran, and Breeding.
What is "reduced price" next to the Open class?
For some classes (e.g. Open), you can additionally mark a reduced-price option — this lets a different registration fee apply to the same class.
How is it determined which class a dog will enter?
When registering a dog, you enter its date of birth (year, month, day) — this is used to determine which age class the dog qualifies for.
Are titles assigned automatically?
The list of titles depends on the selected country and show type — if no titles are defined for a given country or type, the system indicates this automatically in wizard step 3.
Why is a certificate required when registering for the Champion class?
To register for the Champion class, you must attach a copy of the champion certificate — it confirms the dog's eligibility for this class.
Why is a certificate required when registering for the Working class?
Registration for the Working class requires attaching a working trial certificate; the file can be removed or replaced before submitting the registration.
